Economic state of the cellulose and paper industry under transition conditions

After many decades of relatively stable development, input development trends were stopped in the late eighties, when the cellulose and paper industry, as well as the whole society, entered the phase of "transition", marked by processes of (neo)liberalisation, disintegration and privatization and consequently processes of decreasing productivity and production as a whole. The transition has left difficult consequences in every part of the national economy, hence causing the economic process of anti-development.
